|Ron Ball's Survivor Story|
|Basically, out of the blue, I did not feel good, then a rash appeared on my leg. Went to the doctor and he said it was just a rash. A couple of days later the rash was bigger with liquid in the skin. I was rushed to the hospital. It was touch and go with my right leg but it was saved. I had skin removed from the top of my thigh to my knee. This happened April 13, 2001. I was in the hospital for 6 weeks but I went back to work July 9, 2001. I feel pretty good, I have some swelling in my leg and I wonder if anyone else did too. I know it has only been 3 months and I am sure the healing process is long. Can anyone tell me how long their healing process was?|
