The following
people have either had NF or had a family member who had it. These
people are happy to talk with others offering support, just sharing
experiences, and further expanding the worldwide network of those
affected by necrotizing fasciitis. If you would like to volunteer

Rose in California.
Rose's mother lost her arm, but happily survived necrotizing
fasciitis which she contracted after a routine blood draw became
infected. Rose welcomes conversation with others, by clicking

Mary
in Missouri
Mary is
a survivor of NF. She lives in the St. Louis area and would like
to correspond with others. She was infected from an opening created
after a scab came off. She lost most of the soft tissue on her
arm.
Jan
in Georgetown, Ontario, Canada (near Toronto). Jan
is a survivor. She got NF in her leg after having a small crack
in the skin between her toes. She lost a lot of tissue on her leg
but is coping very well. She wants to talk with others to help

David
Cowles in Utah.David
contracted NF after a tiny wound on his finger he got while closing
a piece of luggage. He subsequently went through an ordeal that
cost him most of the skin on his right arm and much on his torso.
He has made a full recovery and wears his scars as a badge of courage.
He has written a book about his experiences and welcomes you to

Laura in
Texas. Laura is still recovering from her experience with NF, which
cost her two toes and part of her foot, but which she says gave
her a whole new appreciation for life, her family and friends.
Although she is willing and anxious to share stories and experiences
with survivors nationwide, Laura is particularly interested in
helping Texas survivors organize into a focused, cohesive group.
