Sean D. Raymond
November 13, 1973 - March 10, 2011

I would like to dedicate my Fiancé’ Sean D. Raymond (11/13/1973-03/10/2011). My fiancé’ and I were planning our wedding when this parasite intruded his body. Sean went into the hospital for what we thought was a “boil” and later found out that he had a deadly bacterial infection called “Necrotizing Fasciitis.” Sean went into the hospital on 10/20/2010. I stayed by his beside everyday until he got better. On December 15, 2010, Sean came home in time for us to celebrate Christmas. We both were so happy because he’d survived, went back to work and we were engaged all in the month of January.

Sean had been living a normal, but limited because he loved working on his cars, riding his motorcycles and going out to the flea markets. Sean found himself getting weak and noticed that he was getting fevers more often than normal. Who would have thought that he was relapsing due to this infection coming back? On March 2,2011, he was admitted back into the hospital and this time it was different. I knew he wasn’t coming back home with me. The infection had invaded all of his body and finally he passed away quietly in his sleep.

Sean, I love you more than words could ever describe. You were my soul mate and I will miss you dearly, but I know you’re not suffering anymore. Until, then my love for you is FOREVER!

Lovingly Submitted
