Rosalva Flores

December 22, 1975 - September 17, 2003

She was a fun loving person. Never judged anyone, always happy. Life to her was appreciated every day. She started with the flu like symptoms, we were all ill from the flu, so naturally we thought of nothing wrong. Then she had a blister and pain, I called the doctor got anti biotic. They did not work she got worse went to the hospital at midnight on a Friday. The hospital did not know what she had until Sunday. We were told she would not survive the surgery. She did and many others after that. One year in hospitals, many surgeries, skin graphs. To be sent home for one month to die of heart failure. I always wonder how can you go through all that and not survive. I am still struggling with her being gone.
