Edith V. Zalkus
November 8, 1933 - July 3, 2003

From her daughter Becky:
My dedication is to my mom who suffered, fought long and hard, but did not survive this awful infection. I promise with anybody help that I can get to make this disease more worldwide known so that everybody will know what to look out for and get help immediately. My mother, Edith V. Zalkus, was born November 8, 1933 and died July 3, 2003. The best mother, grandmother, wife and friend, you will be missed more than you will ever know. We love you now and forever, until we are together again...

Love,
Becca, Mike, Heather, Ashley, Mikey, Lil Michelle, Heidi, Tom, Tommy, Lil Timmy, Erik, Vivian, Lil Erik and George, your forever loving and waiting for you husband.

From her daughter Heidi:
I lost my mother, my best friend, my protector, and my teacher. She had a lot more living to do, but was robbed of her remaining years due to this devastating disease. I don't know how I will go on without her. Her name is Edith V. Zalkus she was born on November 8th, 1933, and went to heaven on July 3rd, 2003. I miss her so much that it hurts right down to my soul. Thanks for reading this.
