I lost my mother March 7, 1998 to this dreadful disease. The doctor's thought she had a sore arm and it took three days to say what it was. But by then it was to late. The doctor's made so many mistakes taking care of her and she suffered so very much. On Wednesday March 4, 1998, we took her to the ER. She was complaining of pain in her left arm. The ER doc said she had arthritis. Friday we took her back. Her arm was black and blue and she was in great pain. They asked us how she burned herself...or how she fell...the doctors had no idea what was going on. They didn't even move her to the ICU until 01:00 PM Friday. We got to the ER at about 07:00 AM still not knowing anything.

At 11:30 PM that night they took her into surgery,,,
Came out and said "flesh eating bacteria",,,
They said it was everywhere,,,
She passed away 09:15 AM Saturday morning.

Our lives are so very lonely without her. Our family was on the news ''extra'' our local newspaper. We contacted lawyers they said Kaiser did nothing wrong. I know in my heart they didn't know what they were dealing with.
