To my beautiful mother
She thought she had a stomach flu and didn't think she had the money to go to the doctor. She started getting sick on a Monday and felt she still needed to work. Her last day of work was Thursday and she went to the hospital Saturday and then died Sunday. She thought she had a stomach flu, a very bad one. None of us could believe it. The doctors said it she probably contracted it from a paper cut she had gotten from work on her hand. It bothers me a lot because my mom was always the paranoid type always telling me to keep my hands washed and to keep sanitizer and stuff. She was always so cautious but it was just not enough for this horrible disease. We had to have a closed casket because she was so swollen and she also had to be put in a body bag to make it easier for the people to transfer her. That also really upset me. My mom was so beautiful. |
